100 Things About Me

1. I had the best pregnancy a mom could ask for
2. I love macaroni and cheese
3. My husband and my son are the best 2 things that have ever happened to me
4. Most days, I enjoy being a nurse
5. I hate leaving my mom and dad after I visit- I still cry on the flight back home
6. I am learning to speak Greek
7. I am impatient
8. I like to procrastinate
9. I wish I could take better photos
10. I get teary eyed when we sing in church "How Great Thou Art"- it reminds me of my Grandma Elsie
11. I like my smile
12. I hate my thighs
13. I think I am personable and outgoing
14. I am a jokester
15. I am more in love with my husband now than I have ever been
16. I make kick ass chocolate chip cookies, margaritas, and cinnamon rolls
17. I never settle for less
18. My nose turns bright red when I cry
19. I ran the Disney Marathon in '05

29. I had to have to have matching clothes, socks, and hats on my kiddo when he was a babe- it's weird, I know
30. I hate bugs, especially those critters that we get here in the South- I hate to even say the name-they gross me out

33. I am afraid of scary movies
34. I love to read and wish I had time to organize a book club - 2009 UPDATE- I finally did one!!
35. I have a thing for orchids thanks to my friend Amy

37. I am afraid something bad will happen to my husband or baby- sometimes I have nightmares and wake up crying
38. I went deer hunting with my dad when I was 12
39. I secretly love all those celebrity magazines but I feel bad buying them because of the papparazzi stalkers
40. Some of my best memories are from places my husband and I have traveled to
41. I don't want to be one of those obnoxious, competitive moms who sticks their kid in every activity/sport and compares him to the other kids
42. I am afraid of swimming in the ocean because of all those sea creatures you can't see
43. I want to go skydiving once in my lifetime- but someone will have to push me out the door
44. I totally appreciate my mom so much more now that I am a mom
45. I wish I knew how to play an instrument
46. I have been so fortunate in my life that sometimes it scares me that something bad will happen
47. My favorite ice cream is chocolate peanut butter (mint chocolate chip is a close second)
48. I was a vegetarian for 4 years until one day I had a craving for a cheeseburger- now I couldn't imagine life without osso bucco, lamb chops and BBQ ribs
49. I love Miami and can't imagine living anywhere else now
50. I love to go to the movies
51. My favorite show was "The Sopranos"
52. I wish my family lived closer
53. I love to cook but hate cleaning up
54. I love to travel and wish we had more time and money to do it

56. I cannot understand the lyrics to songs when they are sung- I have to read the words on the CD cover
57. I am so proud of my husband and his accomplishments in life
58. My favorite cocktail is Mandarin Vodka and Tonic- yum!
59. I flew in a huge Air Rescue Helicopter a few years ago and loved it
60. I had the best time in college and made a few life long friends
61. I get nervous when I speak in front of groups of people (work related- not socially)

65. I love watching Steeler games, but hate that we don't get most of the games here in Miami (thanks to the Dolphins-whatever)

69. I want my son to grow up and do what makes him happy- not what makes his parents happy
70. I would love to own a convertible someday
71. I loved our wedding and would do it all over again

85. When I go home for a visit, my comfort foods are my Mom's crepes, Bruce's chocolate chip pancakes, Jim's cheese dogs, and of course a Primanti's pastrami sandwich!

88. I was a cheerleader, javelin thrower, triple jumper and basketball player in high school
89. I didn't play any sports in college (Does Beer Pong count??)
